Sahih Muslim Book - 4, Hadith - 1159
حَدَّثَنِى عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ - وَاللَّفْظُ لِعَمْرٍو - قَالَ حَدَّثَنِى عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِى سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ حَدَّثَنِى أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِىُّ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى النَّبِىِّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّى عَلَى حَصِيرٍ يَسْجُدُ عَلَيْهِ - قَالَ - وَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّى فِى ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ.
It was narrated from Jabir that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khduri told him that he entered upon the Prophet (s.a.w) and said: "I saw him praying on a reed mat on which he was prostrating, and I saw him praying in a single garment, wrapping it around himself."
