حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِى عَدِىٍّ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِى سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ نَبِىُّ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَعَذَابِ النَّارِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَشَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ ».
Abu Hurairah said: "The Prophet of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min 'adbhabil-qabri, wa 'ahhabin-nari, wa fitnatil-mahya wal-mamati, wa sharri fitnatil-masihid-dajjal (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the punishment of the grave, the punishment of the Fire, the trials of life and death, and the evil of the Dajjal.)'"
