وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنِى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِى عَدِىٍّ كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ عُثْمَانَ الشَّحَّامِ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ. حَدِيثُ ابْنِ أَبِى عَدِىٍّ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ حَمَّادٍ إِلَى آخِرِهِ وَانْتَهَى حَدِيثُ وَكِيعٍ عِنْدَ قَوْلِهِ « إِنِ اسْتَطَاعَ النَّجَاءَ ». وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ مَا بَعْدَهُ.
The Hadith of Ibn Abi 'Adiyy, which is like the Hadith of Hammad up to the end, was narrated from 'Uthman Ash-Shah ham (no.7250) with this chain of narrators. The Hadith of Waki' ends with the words: "Then let him try to find a way of escape if he can," and he did not mention what comes after that.
