It was narrated from 'Ali bin Abi Talib that the Prophet (s.a.w) came to him and Fatimah at night and said: "Are you not praying?" I said: "O Messenger of Allah, our souls are in the Hand of Allah and if He wills to wake us, He will wake us." The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) turned away when I said that to him, then I heard him walking away, striking his thigh and saying: "But, man is ever more quarrelsome than anything."
