It was narrated from 'Adiyy bin Hatim that a man gave a speech in the presence of the Prophet (s.a.w) and said: "Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger is rightly guided and whoever disobeys them has gone astray." The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "What a bad Khatib you are. Say: 'and whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger."' Ibn Numair said: "And he did go astray."
