سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّٰهِ
Holy Qur'an
Al-Qur'an
Kids Qur'an
But if anyone commits a crime and charges an innocent person withit (a Muslim from the tribe of Bani Dhafar committed theft andput the blame on a Jew who was innocent), he indeed shall bearthe guilt of slander and a flagrant sin.
Do you feel secure that He Who is in heaven, will not cause theearth to cave in beneath you and start shaking suddenly?
Or do you feel secure that He Who is in heaven will not sendagainst you a violent tornado, then you shall know how was Mywarning!
Those who have gone before them likewise disbelieved, then seehow terrible was the way I rejected them?
They put you questions about Ar-Ruh (the Spirit). Tell them: "TheSpirit is at my Rabb's command and I am not given any knowledgeof it but a little."
Thus, Allah All-Mighty, the All-Wise sends His revelation to you,O Muhammad, as He sent to other Rasools before you.
Thus have We revealed to you this Qur'an in Arabic, so that youmay warn the residents of the Mother City (Makkah) and itssuburbs, and forewarn them of the Day of assembly about whichthere is no doubt: when some will go to paradise and others tothe blazing fire.
It is not vouchsafed to any human being that Allah should speakto him face to face, He speaks either through inspiration, orfrom behind a veil, or through sending a messenger (angelGabriel) authorized by Him to reveal His will; surely He is mostHigh, most Wise.
O Prophet, follow what is revealed to you and be patient tillAllah passes His judgement, for He is the best of all the Judges.
Behold! Your Rabb inspired the bees to build their hives in themountains, in the trees, and in anything which men may build forbeekeeping,
and feed on every kind of fruit and follow the smooth ways ofyour Rabb. From its belly comes forth a syrup of differentcolors, which contains a healing for mankind. Certainly in thisthere is a sign for those who think.
Does it seem strange to the people that We revealed Our will to aman from among themselves, saying: "Warn mankind and give thegood news to the Believers that they are on sound footing withtheir Rabb?" The disbelievers say: "This man is indeed an obviousmagician!"
Ask them: " Whose testimony is the most reliable? " When they sayAllah, then tell them: "Let Allah be Witness between me and you(that I am the Rasool of Allah) and this Qur'an has been revealedto me by Him so that I may warn you thereby and all those whom itmay reach. Can you really testify that there are other godsbesides Allah?" Tell them: "As far as I am concerned I will nevertestify to this!" Say: "Indeed He is the One and the Only God andI am absolutely disgusted with the shirk you commit.
Thus, have We revealed to you O Muhammad, a Spirit (inspired Book- The Qur'an) by Our command: while you did not know what is TheBook and what is the Iman (faith)? But We have made it (TheQur'an) a light whereby We guide those of Our servants whom Weplease; and surely you are guiding mankind to the Right Way
Thus, Allah All-Mighty, the All-Wise sends His revelation to you,O Muhammad, as He sent to other Rasools before you.
Thus, have We revealed to you O Muhammad, a Spirit (inspired Book- The Qur'an) by Our command: while you did not know what is TheBook and what is the Iman (faith)? But We have made it (TheQur'an) a light whereby We guide those of Our servants whom Weplease; and surely you are guiding mankind to the Right Way
This (Al-Qur'an) is a clear declaration to mankind, a guidanceand an admonition to those who fear Allah!
O believers! Let no men laugh at other men who may perhaps bebetter than themselves; and let no woman laugh at another woman, who may perhaps be better than herself. Do not defame throughsarcastic remarks about one another, nor call one another byoffensive nicknames. It is an evil thing to be called by a badname after being a believer, and those who do not repent are theones who are the wrongdoers.
Allah will not hold you accountable for what is inadvertent inyour oaths, but He will hold you accountable for what youintended in your hearts; Allah is Forgiving, Forbearing.
Allah will not call you to account for what is inadvertent inyour oaths. But He will hold you accountable for that which yousolemnly swear. The penalty for a broken oath is to feed tenindigent persons with such food as you normally provide to yourown family, or to clothe ten needy people, or to free one slave. The one who cannot afford any of these must fast three days. Thisis the expiation for breaking your oaths. Therefore, be mindfulof your oaths. Thus Allah makes clear to you His revelations thatyou may be thankful.
O Muhammad, admonish with this (The Qur'an), those who have thefear of being assembled before their Rabb in such a conditionthat there will be no one to protect them or intercede on theirbehalf other than Him. It may be that, by this admonition, theymay become righteous.
Leave those people alone, who take their religion as mere playand amusement and are deceived by the life of this world. However, keep on admonishing them with this (The Qur'an), lesttheir souls be damned by their own sinful deeds. They will nothave any protector or intercessor to rescue them from Allah, andif they seek to offer every imaginable ransom, it shall not beaccepted from them. Such are those who are damned by their ownsinful deeds. They will get boiling water to drink and painfultorture for their rejection of the Truth.
None shall have the power to intercede except the one who mayreceive the sanction of the Compassionate (Allah).
Say: "Intercession is wholly in the hands of Allah. To Himbelongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and to Him youshall all be brought back."
And those to whom they invoke besides Him, have no power tointercede for them except those who testify to the truth byvirtue of knowledge.
How many are the angels in the heavens; yet their intercessioncan avail none unless Allah gives them permission in favor ofwhom He wants and is pleased with.
Allah adds to what the angels said, "So you have come back to UsAlone as We created you at the first time, leaving behind allthat which We gave you in that world and We don't see with youyour intercessors, whom you claimed to be Allah's partners inyour affairs; all your ties have been cut off and what youpresumed has failed you."
It is Allah Who has created the heavens, the earth and all thatis between them in six periods, then firmly established Himselfon the Throne of Authority. You have no guardian or intercessorbesides Him. Will you not then take heed?
No intercession before Allah can avail anyone except for the onefor whom He permits. Until when terror will be removed from theirhearts, they shall ask the intercessors: "What has your Rabbordained?" They will answer: "The Truth," He is the Most High, the Great.
Have they taken others besides Allah to intercede for them? Askthem: "How can they intercede, if they have neither control overanything nor do they understand?"
Say: "Intercession is wholly in the hands of Allah. To Himbelongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and to Him youshall all be brought back."
They ask you about menstruation. "Tell them: This is adiscomfort; therefore, keep away from women (do not have sexualintercourse) during their menstrual periods and do not approachthem until they are clean again. When they have cleansedthemselves then you may approach them in the manner Allah hasenjoined for you. Surely Allah loves those who turn to Him inrepentance and keep themselves clean.
It is made lawful for you to approach your wives during the nightof the fast; they are an apparel for you and you for them. Allahknows that you were committing dishonesty to your souls. So Hehas relented towards you and pardoned you. Now, you may approachyour wives and seek what Allah has written for you. Eat and drinkuntil the white thread of dawn appears to you distinct from theblack thread of night, then complete your fast till nightfall. Donot approach your wives during I'htikaf (retreat in the mosquesin last ten days of Ramadhan). These are the limits set by Allah:do not ever violate them. Thus Allah makes His revelations clearto mankind so that they may guard themselves against evil.
Guard yourselves against temptation. The wrongdoers among you arenot the only ones who will be tempted; and know that Allah isstrict in retribution.
He is the One Who has revealed to you the Book. Some of itsverses are decisive - they are the foundation of the Book - whileothers are allegorical. Those whose hearts are infected withdisbelief follow the allegorical part to mislead others and togive it their own interpretation, seeking for its hiddenmeanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. Those who are well grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in it;it is all from our Rabb." None will take heed except the peopleof understanding.
Shaitan desires to stir up enmity and hatred between you withintoxicants and gambling and to prevent you from the remembranceof Allah and from Salah (prayers). Will you not abstain?
Ha M'im.
This Book is revealed by Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
We created the heavens and the earth and all that lies betweenthem to manifest the truth and to last for an appointed term. Yetthe disbelievers give no heed to Our warning.
Ask them: "Have you pondered on those whom you invoke besidesAllah? Show me anything that they have created in the earth, ordo they have any share in the creation of the heavens? Bring meany Book revealed before this, or some remnant of divineknowledge in support of your beliefs if you are telling thetruth."
And who could be more astray than the one who invokes thosedeities besides Allah who cannot answer him till the Day ofResurrection - which, in fact, are not even aware that they arebeing invoked?
O Prophet! Why do you make something unlawful, which Allah hasmade lawful to you in seeking to please your wives? Allah isForgiving, Merciful.
Allah has already given you absolution from such oaths. Allah isyour Master and He is the Knowledgeable, the Wise.
When the Prophet confined a secret to one of his wives, shedisclosed this secret to another and Allah informed him about it,the Prophet made known to the said wife a part of it and avoidedmentioning the rest. So when he told her about this disclosure, she asked: "Who told you this?" He replied: "I was informed byHim Who is All-Knowing, All-Aware."
If you both (Hafsah and Aeysha) turn in repentance to Allah - foryour hearts have sinned - you shall be pardoned; and if you backup each other against him (the Prophet), then you should knowthat his protectors are Allah, Gabriel and all righteousbelievers, furthermore the angels too are his supporters.
It may well be that, if he divorce you all, his Rabb will givehim in your place better wives than yourselves, submissive, faithful, obedient, penitent, worshippers and keepers of fasting;be they previously married or virgins.

They set aside a portion of what We have provided them with, forthose deities about whom they know nothing. By Allah! You shallmost certainly be questioned about the lies you fabricate.
They shall tender their submission to Allah that Day: and thegods of their own inventions will leave them in the lurch.
We have destroyed the towns which were once flourished around you- and We repeatedly sent them Our revelations so that they mayturn to the Right Way.
- Then Why did not those whom they worshipped besides Allahhelped them who they regarded as a means of attaining nearness toHim? But those deities utterly forsake them, because those werenothing but their lies and their false inventions.
Woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and thensay: "This is from Allah," so that they may sell it for a pettyprice! Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe tothem for what they have earned.
The Jews say: "The fire shall not touch us except for a fewdays." O Muhammad, say: "Have you obtained such a promise fromAllah which He would not break ? Or do you assert against Allahwhat you do not know?"
Yea! Those who commit evil and become encircled in sin are theinmates of Hellfire; they shall live there forever.
Thereupon, every soul shall know what it had sent forth, as theywill be brought in the Court of Allah, their true Patron, andtheir invented falsehoods will leave them in the lurch.
O Prophet! When the believing women come to you to take the oathof allegiance , take their pledge: that they will not commitshirk with Allah, that they will not steal, that they will notcommit adultery, that they will not kill their children, thatthey will not give any cause for scandal which they may inventbetween either their hands or legs (a woman accusing anotherwoman of having an illicit relationship with a man and spreadssuch stories - or - a woman carrying an illegitimate child andmakes her husband believe that it is his), and that they will notdisobey you in any just matter, then accept their allegiance andpray to Allah for the forgiveness. Surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving,most Merciful.
Now are these people waiting for anything other than the Day ofFulfillment (Day of Judgement)? When the Day of Fulfillment willcome, those who have disregarded it, will say: "Indeed theRasools of our Rabb had come with the truth. Are there anyintercessors now, who could intercede on our behalf? Or could webe sent back so that we would not do as we have done before." Infact they would have lost their souls and the things they hadinvented will leave them in the lurch.
Those who worshipped the calf have indeed incurred the wrath oftheir Rabb and disgrace in this life; thus do We recompense thosewho invent falsehoods.
Surely those who do not believe in the revelations of Allah, arethe ones who forge the falsehood and they are the ones who areliars!
All food, that is lawful in Islamic Law, was also Halal (lawful)for the children of Israel except what Israel (Ya'qoob) madeHaram (unlawful) for himself before the Taurat (Torah) wasrevealed to Musa. Ask them: "Bring the Taurat (Torah) and read apassage from it in support of your objection, if what you say istrue."
Then whoever fabricates a lie against Allah after this, willindeed be unjust.
See how they invent a lie against Allah, and this in itself isenough to show their manifest sin.
Allah did not institute superstitions like those of a slit-earshe-camel or a she-camel let loose for free pasture or idolsacrifices for twin-births in animals or stallion-camels freedfrom work; this lie is invented by the unbelievers against Allah, and most of them lack understanding.
Who can be more wicked than a person who forges a lie againstAllah or denies His revelations? Surely the wrongdoers shallnever get salvation.
Who can be more wicked than the one who invents a lie againstAllah, or says: "This was revealed to me," while nothing wasrevealed to him? Or the one who says: "I can reveal the like ofwhat Allah has revealed?" If you could only see these wrongdoerswhen they are in the agonies of death and the angels stretchforth their hands saying, "Take out your soul! Today you will berewarded with a disgraceful punishment for saying falsehoodagainst Allah which you had no right to say and showing arroganceagainst His revelations!"
These mushrikin say that such and such cattle and crops arereserved, in the name of such and such temple, and no one shouldeat except those whom we permit - in fact these restrictions theythemselves have imposed. Then there are some animals which theyhave prohibited from riding or carrying loads, and there arestill other animals over which they do not pronounce the name ofAllah. They have falsely attributed all these things to Him. SoonHe will requite them for their invented lies.
They also say: "The offspring of these cattle is speciallyreserved for our males and forbidden to our females but if it isstillborn then all can share together." Soon He will punish themfor their attribution of such superstitions to Allah. Surely Heis Wise, Knowledgeable.
Actual losers are those who kill their own children foolishlywithout knowledge and forbid food which Allah has provided them, falsely ascribing prohibitions to Allah. Certainly they have goneastray and are not at all rightly guided.
For eight heads of cattle, male and female, there aresuperstitions. Take a pair of sheep and a pair of goats, forexample, and ask them, "Of these, has He forbidden you the males, females or their fetuses? Answer me based on knowledge, notsuperstition, if what you say is true."
Likewise ask them about a pair of camels and a pair of cows, "Ofthese, has He forbidden you the males, females or their fetuses?"If they answer, then ask them: "Were you present when Allah gaveyou these commandments?" If not then Who can be more unjust thanthe one who forges a lie against Allah, so that he may misleadmankind without having any knowledge? Surely Allah does not guidethe unjust people.
Who can be more unjust than the one who invents a lie againstAllah or rejects His revelations? Such people will have theirdestined portion from the Book (what was written for them toreceive during their life on earth); until when Our messengers(angels of death) arrive to take away their souls, they will ask:"Where are those gods whom you used to invoke besides Allah?"They will reply: "They have forsaken us" and they will bearwitness against themselves (admit) that they were indeed kuffar(unbelievers).
O Prophet, ask them: "Have you ever considered that out of thesustenance which Allah has given you, you yourselves have madesome things Halal (lawful) and others Haram (unlawful)? Ask them:"Did Allah permit you to do so, or do you ascribe a false thingto Allah?"
What treatment do they think those people will get, who ascribefalse things to Allah, on the Day of Resurrection? Indeed Allahis full of grace to mankind, but most of them are not grateful.
They (Jews and Christians) say: "Allah has begotten a son!" Glorybe to Him! He is self-sufficient! His is all that is in theHeavens and in the Earth! Have you any proof for what you say?Would you ascribe to Allah something about which you have noknowledge?
O Prophet, tell them: "Those who ascribe false things to Allahwill never prosper."
Well, they may have a little enjoyment in this world, buteventually they have to return to Us and then We will make themtaste the severest punishment for their unbelief.
Who can be more wrong than the one who forges a lie againstAllah? Such people will be brought before their Rabb, and thewitnesses will say: "These are the ones who lied against theirRabb." Beware! The Curse of Allah is on those wrongdoers
who hinder others from the path of Allah and seek to make itcrooked, and who deny the hereafter.
These people cannot frustrate His plan in the land and there isnone to protect them besides Allah. Their punishment shall bedoubled, for they could neither hear others who speak the Truthnor see the Truth for themselves.
They are the ones who have lost their own souls, and the fanciesthey invented have left them in the lurch.
No doubt they will be the greatest losers in the Hereafter.
You shall not falsely declare with your tongues: "This is lawful, and that is forbidden," in order to ascribe false things toAllah, for those who forge lies against Allah will never prosper.
Brief is their enjoyment of this life, and they shall have apainful punishment.
And who is more wicked than the one who forges a lie againstAllah or rejects the Truth when it reaches him? Is not the hell afitting abode for such disbelievers?
Who could be more wrong than the one who invents falsehoodsagainst Allah while he is being called towards Islam? Allah doesnot guide those who are wrongdoers.
They seek to extinguish the Light of Allah with their mouths, butAllah will perfect His Light, much as the unbelievers may dislikeit.
Like this Rasool, We had granted each Rasool his opponents -shaitans from among the human beings and Jinns - some of theminspire the others with seductive discourses of deception. Ifyour Rabb wanted, they would not have done so. Therefore, neglectthem as well as what they invent,
This is because they say: "The fire of Hell shall not touch us;even if it does, it will be for a few days." In their religionthey are deceived by their own self-invented beliefs.
What will they do when We will gather them together on the Daywhich is sure to come, when every soul will be given what it hasearned and there shall be no injustice?
