وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَوْنٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ قَالَ انْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا وَمَسْرُوقٌ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ - رضى الله عنها - فَقُلْنَا لَهَا أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يُبَاشِرُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ وَلَكِنَّهُ كَانَ أَمْلَكَكُمْ لإِرْبِهِ أَوْ مِنْ أَمْلَكِكُمْ لإِرْبِهِ. شَكَّ أَبُو عَاصِمٍ.
It was narrated that Al-Aswad said: Masruk and I went to Aishah [may Allah be pleased with her] and said: ‘Did the Messenger of Allah touch(his wife) while he was fasting ?’ She said: ‘Yes, but he was the most able of you to control his desire, ’or one of the most able of you to control his desire’” – Abu Asim (a narrator) was not sure.
