وَحَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الأَشْعَثِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْكِنْدِىُّ وَعَلِىُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ حَدَّثَنِى الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ - وَقَالَ ابْنُ خَشْرَمٍ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ - عَنْ أَبِى النَّضْرِ مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ « أُرِيتُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ ثُمَّ أُنْسِيتُهَا وَأَرَانِى صُبْحَهَا أَسْجُدُ فِى مَاءٍ وَطِينٍ ». قَالَ فَمُطِرْنَا لَيْلَةَ ثَلاَثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ فَصَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فَانْصَرَفَ وَإِنَّ أَثَرَ الْمَاءِ وَالطِّينِ عَلَى جَبْهَتِهِ وَأَنْفِهِ. قَالَ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُنَيْسٍ يَقُولُ ثَلاَثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ.
It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin Unias that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: ‘I was shown Lailat Al-Qadar then I was caused to forget it, but I was shown that on the (following) morning I would be prostrating in water and mud.” It rained on the night of the twenty-third, and the messenger of Allah (SAW) led us in prayer; when he finished, the traces of water and mud were on his forehead and nose. Busr (a narrator) said: “’Abdullah bin Unais used to say: “The twenty-third.”’
