It was narrated from Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Al-Muntashir that his father said: “I heard Ibn Umar [may Allah be pleased with them] say: ‘If I were to rub pitch onto myself, that is dearer to me than entering Ihram reeking of perfume.’ Then I entered upon Aishah [may Allah be pleased with her] and told her what he had said. She said: ‘I put perfume on Messenger of Allah (SAW) for his Ihram, then he went around to his wives, then in the morning he entered Ihram.’
