Sahih Muslim Book - 15, Hadith - 3136

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُحَيَّاةِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى أَبُو الْمُحَيَّاةِ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ قِيلَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ نَاسًا يَرْمُونَ الْجَمْرَةَ مِنْ فَوْقِ الْعَقَبَةِ - قَالَ - فَرَمَاهَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ مِنْ بَطْنِ الْوَادِى ثُمَّ قَالَ مِنْ هَا هُنَا وَالَّذِى لاَ إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ رَمَاهَا الَّذِى أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ.

It was narrated that Abdur-Rahman bin Yazid said: “It was said to Abdullah: ‘Some people are stoning to Jamarh from above Al-Aqabah. ’He said: ‘Abdullah stoned it from the bottom of the valley’, then he said: ‘From here, By the One besides Whom there is none worthy of worship, the one to whom Surat Al-Baqarah was revealed stoned it.’”
