Sahih Muslim Book - 33, Hadith - 4789
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ غَيْلاَنَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ. أَمَّا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى فَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ النَّبِىَّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فِى الْحَدِيثِ وَأَمَّا ابْنُ بَشَّارٍ فَقَالَ فِى رِوَايَتِهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِهِمْ.
It was narrated from Ghailan bin Jarir with this chain of narration (a Hadith similar to no 4788). As for Ibn Al-Muthanna (a sub-narrator), he did not mention the Prophet (s.a.w) in his Hadith. As for Ibn Bash-shar (a sub-narrator), he said in his report: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said..." like their Hadith.
