Sahih Muslim Book - 33, Hadith - 4866
حَدَّثَنِى زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « تَضَمَّنَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ خَرَجَ فِى سَبِيلِهِ - إِلَى قَوْلِهِ - مَا تَخَلَّفْتُ خِلاَفَ سَرِيَّةٍ تَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى ».
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'Allah guarantees the one who goes out (to fight) in His cause... I would not have stayed behind from any expedition that went out in the cause of Allah."'
