حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ الضُّبَعِىُّ وَشَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِىُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلٌ مَوْلَى أَبِى عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُقَيْلٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ عَنْ أَبِى الأَسْوَدِ الدِّيلِىِّ عَنْ أَبِى ذَرٍّ عَنِ النَّبِىِّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ « عُرِضَتْ عَلَىَّ أَعْمَالُ أُمَّتِى حَسَنُهَا وَسَيِّئُهَا فَوَجَدْتُ فِى مَحَاسِنِ أَعْمَالِهَا الأَذَى يُمَاطُ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ وَوَجَدْتُ فِى مَسَاوِى أَعْمَالِهَا النُّخَاعَةَ تَكُونُ فِى الْمَسْجِدِ لاَ تُدْفَنُ ».
It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Prophet (s.a.w) said: "The deeds of my Ummah, good and bad, were shown to me. Among their good deeds I saw the removal of harmful things from the road, and among their bad deeds I saw sputum in the Masjid that is not buried."
