Surah 21. Al-Anbiya, Ayah 23
لَا يُسْـَٔلُ عَمَّا يَفْعَلُ وَهُمْ يُسْـَٔلُونَ Qur’an Al-Anbiya (21:23)L a yusalu AAamm a yafAAalu wahum yusaloon a
He cannot be called to account for whatever He does, whereas they will be called to account:
- Mohammad Asad
Mohammad AsadHe is accountable to none about what He does, but they are accountable to Him.
- Muhammad Farooq-i-Azam Malik
Muhammad Farooq-i-Azam MalikHe cannot be questioned about what He does, but they will 'all' be questioned.
- Mustafa Khattab
Mustafa KhattabHe will not be questioned as to that which He doeth, but they will be questioned.
- Marmaduke Pickthall
Marmaduke PickthallHe cannot be questioned for His acts but they will be questioned (for theirs). 2683
