وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَQur’an As-Saffat (37:171)

Walaqad sabaqat kalimatuna liAAibadina almursaleena

for, long ago has Our word gone forth unto Our servants, the message-bearers,

We have already promised Our servants whom We sent as Rasools

Our Word has already gone forth to Our servants, the messengers,

And verily Our word went forth of old unto Our bondmen sent (to warn)
