يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ ۖ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ Qur’an At-Tahrim (66:7)

Y a ayyuh a alla th eena kafaroo l a taAAta th iroo alyawma innam a tujzawna m a kuntum taAAmaloon a

[Hence,] O you who are bent on denying the truth, make no [empty] excuses today:¹⁵ [in the life to come] you shall be but recompensed for what you were doing [in this world].

They will say to the unbelievers: "O unbelievers! Make no excuses for yourselves this Day. You are being rewarded according to your deeds."
