Surah 79. An-Naziat, Ayah 40

وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفْسَ عَنِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ Qur’an An-Naziat (79:40)

Waama man khafa maqama rabbihi wanaha alnnafsa AAani alhawa

But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires,

But he who had feared standing before his Rabb and curbed his evil desires

And as for those who were in awe of standing before their Lord and restrained themselves from 'evil' desires,

But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust,

- Marmaduke Pickthall

And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower Desires ⁵⁹⁹⁵
