حَدَّثَنِى أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْ أَخَذَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- مَعَ الْبَيْعَةِ أَلاَّ نَنُوحَ فَمَا وَفَتْ مِنَّا امْرَأَةٌ إِلاَّ خَمْسٌ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ وَأُمُّ الْعَلاَءِ وَابْنَةُ أَبِى سَبْرَةَ امْرَأَةُ مُعَاذٍ أَوِ ابْنَةُ أَبِى سَبْرَةَ وَامْرَأَةُ مُعَاذٍ.
It was narrated that Umm 'Atiyyah said: "Along with the pledge of allegiance, the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) took from us our promise that we would not wail (for the dead), but only five of us fulfilled that promise: Umm Sulaim, Umm Al-'Ala' and the daughter of Abu Sabrah the wife of Mu'adh" - or "the daughter of Abu Sabrah and the wife of Mu'adh."
