Sahih Muslim Book - 11, Hadith - 2242
وَحَدَّثَنِى أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِى عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ح وَحَدَّثَنِى هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَيْلِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِى عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ - فِى رِوَايَةِ أَبِى الطَّاهِرِ - أَنَّ أَبَا عَلِىٍّ الْهَمْدَانِىَّ حَدَّثَهُ - وَفِى رِوَايَةِ هَارُونَ - أَنَّ ثُمَامَةَ بْنَ شُفَىٍّ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ بِأَرْضِ الرُّومِ بِرُودِسَ فَتُوُفِّىَ صَاحِبٌ لَنَا فَأَمَرَ فَضَالَةُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ بِقَبْرِهِ فَسُوِّىَ ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَأْمُرُ بِتَسْوِيَتِهَا.
'Amr bin Al-Harith narrated: "We were with Fadalah bin 'Ubaid in the land of the Romans, in Rudis, and a companion of ours died. Fadalah bin 'Ubaid ordered that his grave be leveled, then he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) ordering that graves be leveled."'
