حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ - رضى الله عنهما - عَنِ النَّبِىِّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- خَرَّ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَعِيرِهِ فَوُقِصَ فَمَاتَ فَقَالَ « اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِى ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا ».
It was narrated from Ibn Abbas [may Allah be pleased with them] that a man fell from his camel and his neck was broken, and he died. The Prophet (SAW) said: “Wash him with water and lote tree leaves, and shroud him in his two garments, but do not cover his head, for Allah will raise him on the Day of Resurrection reciting the Talbiyah.”
