Sahih Muslim Book - 15, Hadith - 2910

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِىُّ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ - رضى الله عنها - أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- عَامَ حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَأَهْلَلْنَا بِعُمْرَةٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ هَدْىٌ فَلْيُهِلَّ بِالْحَجِّ مَعَ الْعُمْرَةِ ثُمَّ لاَ يَحِلُّ حَتَّى يَحِلَّ مِنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا ». قَالَتْ فَقَدِمْتُ مَكَّةَ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ لَمْ أَطُفْ بِالْبَيْتِ وَلاَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَشَكَوْتُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فَقَالَ « انْقُضِى رَأْسَكِ وَامْتَشِطِى وَأَهِلِّى بِالْحَجِّ وَدَعِى الْعُمْرَةَ ». قَالَتْ فَفَعَلْتُ فَلَمَّا قَضَيْنَا الْحَجَّ أَرْسَلَنِى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- مَعَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِى بَكْرٍ إِلَى التَّنْعِيمِ فَاعْتَمَرْتُ فَقَالَ « هَذِهِ مَكَانَ عُمْرَتِكِ ». فَطَافَ الَّذِينَ أَهَلُّوا بِالْعُمْرَةِ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ثُمَّ حَلُّوا ثُمَّ طَافُوا طَوَافًا آخَرَ بَعْدَ أَنْ رَجَعُوا مِنْ مِنًى لِحَجِّهِمْ وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَانُوا جَمَعُوا الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ فَإِنَّمَا طَافُوا طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا.

It was narrated that Aisha [may Allah be pleased with her] said: “We set out with the Messenger of Allah (SAW) during the year of Farewell pilgrimage, and we entered Ihram for Umrah. Then the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: ‘Whoever has a Hadi (sacrificial animal) with him, let him enter Ihram for Hajj with Umrah, then not exit from Ihram until he exits Ihram form both.’ “I came to Makkah and I was menstruating, I did not circumambulate the House nor go between As-Safa and Al-Marwah. I complained about that to the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and he said: ‘Undo your hair and comb it, and enter Ihram for Hajj, and leave Umrah for now.’ I did that. Then, we had finished Hajj, the Messenger of Allah (SAW) sent me with Abdur-Rahman Abi Bakr to At-Tanim and I performed Umrah. He said: ‘This is place of your Umrah.’ And those who had entered Ihram for Umrah circumambulated the House and went between As-Safa and Al-Marwah. Then they exited Ihram, and then they performed another Tawaf after they returned from Mina for Hajj. As for those who joined Hajj and Umrah, they performed one Tawaf.””
