Sahih Muslim Book - 15, Hadith - 3297
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ - يَعْنِى ابْنَ بِلاَلٍ - عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ يَسْأَلُ السَّائِبَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ يَقُولُ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ فِى الإِقَامَةِ بِمَكَّةَ شَيْئًا فَقَالَ السَّائِبُ سَمِعْتُ الْعَلاَءَ بْنَ الْحَضْرَمِىِّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَقُولُ « لِلْمُهَاجِرِ إِقَامَةُ ثَلاَثٍ بَعْدَ الصَّدَرِ بِمَكَّةَ ». كَأَنَّهُ يَقُولُ لاَ يَزِيدُ عَلَيْهَا.
Al-Ala bin Al Hadrami said: “I heard that the Messenger Of Allah (SAW) say: “The Muhajir may stay in Makkah for three (days) after completing Hajj, and it is as if he said: ‘and no more than that.””
