It was narrated from Abu Salamah bin ‘Abdur-Rahman and Abu Abdullah Al-Agharr, the freed slave of the Juhanis - who were companions of Abu Hurairah - that they heard Abu Hurairah say: “One prayer in the Masjid of the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) is better than a thousand prayers in any other Masjid, except Al-Masjid Al-Haram, and the Messenger of Allah (SAW) is the last of the Prophets, and his Masjid is the last of the Masajid.” Abu Salamah and Abu Abdur-Rahman said: “We did not doubt that Abu Hurairah was narrating the words of the Messenger of Allah (SAW), and this kept us from asking him for proof of that Hadith. Then when Abu Hurairah died, we discussed that and blamed one another for not speaking to Abu Hurairah about that, so that he could have attributed it to the Messenger of Allah (SAW) if heard it from him. While we were like that, Abdullah bin Ibrahim bin Qariz sat down with us and we told him this Hadith and how we had neglected to ascertain whether Abu Hurairah was narrating it directly from the Prophet (SAW), Abdullah bin Ibrahim bin Qariz said to us: ‘I bear witness that I heard Abu Hurairah say: ‘The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: ‘I am the last of the Prophets and my Masjid is the last of the Masajid.’’’”

"The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him."
Sunan Ibn Mājah
"Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'"
