حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو فَزَارَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الأَصَمِّ حَدَّثَتْنِى مَيْمُونَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهُوَ حَلاَلٌ قَالَ وَكَانَتْ خَالَتِى وَخَالَةَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ.
It was narrated from Yazid bin Al-Asamm: "Maimunah bint Al-Harith told me that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) married her when he was not in Ihram." He said: "She was my maternal aunt and the maternal aunt of Ibn 'Abbas."
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."

"The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him."

"Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'"
