It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The wife of Rifa'ah came to the Prophet (s.a.w) and said: 'I was married to Rifa'ah, then he divorced me and made the divorce irrevocable. Then I married 'Abdur-Rahman bin Az-Zubair, and what he has is like the edge of a garment.' The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) smiled and said: 'Do you want to go back to Rifa'ah? No, not until you taste his ('Abdur-Rahman's) sweetness and he tastes your sweetness.'" She said: "And Abu Bakr was with him, and Khalid was at the door, waiting to be given permission to enter. He called out: 'O Abu Bakr, do you not hear what this woman dares to say in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w)?"'
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."
Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)
"The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him."
Sunan Ibn Mājah
"Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'"
Sahih Bukhari
