Sahih Muslim Book - 17, Hadith - 3584
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى وَهُوَ الْقَطَّانُ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مِهْرَانَ الْقُطَعِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ جَمِيعًا عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِىُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِى عَرُوبَةَ كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ قَتَادَةَ بِإِسْنَادِ هَمَّامٍ سَوَاءً غَيْرَ أَنَّ حَدِيثَ شُعْبَةَ انْتَهَى عِنْدَ قَوْلِهِ « ابْنَةُ أَخِى مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ ». وَفِى حَدِيثِ سَعِيدٍ « وَإِنَّهُ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ ». وَفِى رِوَايَةِ بِشْرِ بْنِ عُمَرَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ.
The same report (no. 3583) was narrated from Qatadah with the chain of Hammam, except that the Hadith of Shu'bah ends with the words "... the daughter of my brother through breastfeeding." In the Hadith of Sa'eed it says: "Verily what becomes unlawful through breastfeeding is that which becomes unlawful through blood ties"
