Sahih Muslim Book - 22, Hadith - 4085
حَدَّثَنِى إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِى سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِى سَعِيدٍ قَالَ كُنَّا نُرْزَقُ تَمْرَ الْجَمْعِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- وَهُوَ الْخِلْطُ مِنَ التَّمْرِ فَكُنَّا نَبِيعُ صَاعَيْنِ بِصَاعٍ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فَقَالَ « لاَ صَاعَىْ تَمْرٍ بِصَاعٍ وَلاَ صَاعَىْ حِنْطَةٍ بِصَاعٍ وَلاَ دِرْهَمَ بِدِرْهَمَيْنِ ».
It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed said: "We were given dates of mixed quality at the time of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w), and we used to sell two Sa' for one. News of that reached the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and he said: 'Do not sell two Sa' of dates for one, or two Sa' of wheat for one, or two Dirham for one."'
