Sahih Muslim Book - 27, Hadith - 4266
وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِى عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِىُّ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِى قِلاَبَةَ وَالْقَاسِمِ التَّمِيمِىِّ عَنْ زَهْدَمٍ الْجَرْمِىِّ قَالَ كَانَ بَيْنَ هَذَا الْحَىِّ مِنْ جَرْمٍ وَبَيْنَ الأَشْعَرِيِّينَ وُدٌّ وَإِخَاءٌ فَكُنَّا عِنْدَ أَبِى مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِىِّ فَقُرِّبَ إِلَيْهِ طَعَامٌ فِيهِ لَحْمُ دَجَاجٍ. فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ.
It was narrated that Zahdam Al-Jarmi said: "There was love and brotherhood between this clan of J arm and the Ash'aris. We were with Abu Musa Al-Asha'ri, and some food containing chicken was brought to him...'' and he narrated something similar (as Hadith no. 4265).
