It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish came to the Prophet (s.a.w) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I am a woman who suffers from Istihadbah (prolonged vaginal bleeding) and I do not become pure. Should I give up As-Salat?' He said: 'No, rather that is from a vein and is not menstruation. When the time of your menstruation arrives, stop praying, and when it is ends, wash the blood from yourself and offer As-Salat."'
