وحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ (ح) وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكِّيِّ ، مَوْلَى حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ نَهَى أَنْ يُنْبَذَ الزَّبِيبُ وَالتَّمْرُ جَمِيعًا ، وَنَهَى أَنْ يُنْبَذَ الْبُسْرُ وَالرُّطَبُ جَمِيعًا.
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah Al-Ansari that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) forbade making Nabidh with raisins and dried dates together, and he forbade making Nabidh with unripe dates and fresh dates together.
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."

"The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him."
