حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْفَضْلِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ثُمَامَةُ بْنُ حَزْنٍ الْقُشَيْرِيُّ ، قَالَ: لَقِيتُ عَائِشَةَ ، فَسَأَلْتُهَا عَنِ النَّبِيذِ ، فَحَدَّثَتْنِي أَنَّ وَفْدَ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ قَدِمُوا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَسَأَلُوا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ النَّبِيذِ ، فَنَهَاهُمْ أَنْ يَنْتَبِذُوا فِي الدُّبَّاءِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ.
Thumamah bin Hazn Al-Qushairi said: "I met 'Aishah and asked her about Nabidh. She told me that the delegation of 'Abdul-Qais came to the Prophet (s.a.w) and they asked the Prophet (s.a.w) about Nabidh. He forbade them to make Nabidh in gourds, An-Naqir, Al-Muzaffat and Al-Hantam."
