حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي زَاذَانُ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لاِبْنِ عُمَرَ : حَدِّثْنِي بِمَا نَهَى عَنْهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الأَشْرِبَةِ بِلُغَتِكَ ، وَفَسِّرْهُ لِي بِلُغَتِنَا ، فَإِنَّ لَكُمْ لُغَةً سِوَى لُغَتِنَا ، فَقَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْحَنْتَمِ ، وَهِيَ الْجَرَّةُ ، وَعَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ ، وَهِيَ الْقَرْعَةُ ، وَعَنِ الْمُزَفَّتِ ، وَهُوَ الْمُقَيَّرُ ، وَعَنِ النَّقِيرِ ، وَهِيَ النَّخْلَةُ تُنْسَحُ نَسْحًا ، وَتُنْقَرُ نَقْرًا ، وَأَمَرَ أَنْ يُنْتَبَذَ فِي الأَسْقِيَةِ.
It was narrated that 'Amr bin Murrah said: "Zadhan said: 'I said to Ibn 'Umar: "Tell me about the drinks that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) forbade in your language, then explain to me in our language, for your language is different than ours." He said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) forbade Al-Hantam, which are earthenware jars; Ad-Dubba ', which are squashes; Al-Muzaffat which are Al-Muqayyar; and An-Naqir which are date palms from which vessels are fashioned or hollowed out, and he told us to make Nabidh in waterskins."
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."
