Sahih Muslim Book - 36, Hadith - 5337
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَحْلاَءَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الرِّجَالِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يَا عَائِشَةُ ، بَيْتٌ لاَ تَمْرَ فِيهِ جِيَاعٌ أَهْلُهُ ، يَا عَائِشَةُ ، بَيْتٌ لاَ تَمْرَ فِيهِ جِيَاعٌ أَهْلُهُ ، أَوْ جَاعَ أَهْلُهُ قَالَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ ، أَوْ ثَلاَثًا.
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'O 'Aishah, a house in which there are no dates, its people will go hungry. O 'Aishah, a house in which there are no dates, its people will go hungry."' He said it two or three times.
