Jabir bin ‘Abdullah said: “I heard the Prophet (s.a.w) say: ‘There is no ‘Adwa, no Safar and no Ghoul.”’ And I (the narrator) heard Abu Az-Zubair say that Jabir explained the words “There is no Safar” to them. Abu Az-Zubair said: “Safar means the belly.” It was said to Jabir: “How is that?” He said: “It was said that it is worms in the belly.” He said: “But he did not explain Ghoul to them.” Abu Az-Zubair said: “This is the Ghoul that assumes different shapes.”
