حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، وَأَبُو الرَّبِيعِ ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، وَاللَّفْظُ لأَبِي الرَّبِيعِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أُرِيتُكِ فِي الْمَنَامِ ثَلاَثَ لَيَالٍ ، جَاءَنِي بِكِ الْمَلَكُ فِي سَرَقَةٍ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ ، فَيَقُولُ: هَذِهِ امْرَأَتُكَ ، فَأَكْشِفُ عَنْ وَجْهِكِ فَإِذَا أَنْتِ هِيَ ، فَأَقُولُ : إِنْ يَكُ هَذَا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ ، يُمْضِهِ.
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'I was shown in my dreams for three nights that the angel brought you to me wrapped in a cloth of silk, saying: "This is your wife." I uncovered your face and saw that it was you, and I said: If this is from Allah then He will bring it to pass."'
