Sahih Muslim Book - 45, Hadith - 6687
حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَا زَالَ جِبْرِيلُ يُوصِينِي بِالْجَارِ ، حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ سَيُوَرِّثُهُ.
Ibn 'Umar said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'Jibril kept urging me that neighbors should be treated well until I thought he would make them heirs"'
