Sahih Muslim Book - 48, Hadith - 6824
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللهِ ، أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ ، وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللهِ ، كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ ، وَالْمَوْتُ قَبْلَ لِقَاءِ اللَّهِ.
It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him, and whoever hates to meet Allah, Allah hates to meet him, and death comes before meeting Allah."
