Sahih Muslim Book - 48, Hadith - 6846
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: كَلِمَتَانِ خَفِيفَتَانِ عَلَى اللِّسَانِ ، ثَقِيلَتَانِ فِي الْمِيزَانِ، حَبِيبَتَانِ إِلَى الرَّحْمَنِ: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ الْعَظِيمِ.
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'Two words that are light on the tongue and heavy in the Scale, and beloved to the Most Merciful: Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan Allahil-azim (Glory and praise be to Allah, and Glory to be Allah the Almighty)."'
