It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) used to say these supplications: ''Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min fitnatin-nari wa 'adhabin-nar, wa fitnatil-qabri wa 'adhabil-qabr, wa min sharri fitnatil-ghina wa min sharri fitnatil-faqr, wa a'udhu bika min sharri fitnatil-masihid-dajjal. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min al-kasali wal-harami wal-ma'thami wal-maghram (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the trial of the Fire, and the torment of the Fire, and the trial of the grave, and the torment of the grave, from the evils of the trial of wealth and from the evils of the trial of poverty, and I seek refuge with You from the evil of the trial of the Dajjal. O Allah, wash away my sins with the water of snow and hail, and cleanse my heart of sin as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. Put a great distance between me and my sins, as great as the distance You have made between the East and the West. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from laziness, old age, sin and heavy debt)."
