حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِى حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِى التَّيَّاحِ قَالَ كَانَ لِمُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ امْرَأَتَانِ فَجَاءَ مِنْ عِنْدِ إِحْدَاهُمَا فَقَالَتِ الأُخْرَى جِئْتَ مِنْ عِنْدِ فُلاَنَةَ فَقَالَ جِئْتُ مِنْ عِنْدِ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ فَحَدَّثَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ « إِنَّ أَقَلَّ سَاكِنِى الْجَنَّةِ النِّسَاءُ ».
It was narrated that Abu At-Tayyah said: "Mutarrif bin 'Abdullah had two wives, and he came from the house of one of them, and the other one said: 'Have you come from the house of so-and-so?' He said: 'I have come from the house of 'Imran bin Husain and he told us that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "The fewest of the people of Paradise are women."
