Sahih Muslim Book - 5, Hadith - 1375
وَحَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِىِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُرْوَةُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنِى أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ وَحَرْمَلَةُ كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ - وَالسِّيَاقُ لِحَرْمَلَةَ - قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِى يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنَ الْعَصْرِ سَجْدَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ أَوْ مِنَ الصُّبْحِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا ». وَالسَّجْدَةُ إِنَّمَا هِىَ الرَّكْعَةُ.
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "Whoever catches up with a Sajdah of 'Asr before the sun sets, or with a Sajdah of Subh before the sun rises, has caught up with it." And As-Sajdah only means the Rak'ah.
