حَدَّثَنِى عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ وَحَسَنٌ الْحُلْوَانِىُّ وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ عَبْدٌ أَخْبَرَنِى وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ - وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِى عَنْ صَالِحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْبَحِيرَةَ الَّتِى يُمْنَعُ دَرُّهَا لِلطَّوَاغِيتِ فَلاَ يَحْلُبُهَا أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَأَمَّا السَّائِبَةُ الَّتِى كَانُوا يُسَيِّبُونَهَا لآلِهَتِهِمْ فَلاَ يُحْمَلُ عَلَيْهَا شَىْءٌ. وَقَالَ ابْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « رَأَيْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْخُزَاعِىَّ يَجُرُّ قُصْبَهُ فِى النَّارِ وَكَانَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ سَيَّبَ السُّيُوبَ ».
Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab said: "The Bahirah was a camel which it was forbidden to milk for the sake of their false gods, so no one among the people would milk it. The Sa'ibah was a camel which they let loose for the sake of their gods, so nothing was loaded onto it. Ibn Al-Musayyab said: "Abu Hurairah said: 'The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "I saw 'Amr bin 'Amir Al-Khuza'i dragging his intestines in the Fire. He was the first one to introduce the institution of the Sa'ibah.'"
