حَدَّثَنِى إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِى سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِىُّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « تَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ النَّائِمُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَقْظَانِ وَالْيَقْظَانُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْقَائِمِ وَالْقَائِمُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ السَّاعِى فَمَنْ وَجَدَ مَلْجَأً أَوْ مَعَاذًا فَلْيَسْتَعِذْ ».
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Prophet (s.a.w) said: 'There will be tribulation during that the one who sleeps will be better than the one who is awake, and the one who is awake will be better than the one who is standing, and the one who is standing will be better than the one who is running. Whoever finds a place of refuge, let him seek refuge therein."'
