Sahih Muslim Book - 52, Hadith - 7303
وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِى عُمَرَ الْمَكِّىُّ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ - وَهُوَ ابْنُ كَيْسَانَ - عَنْ أَبِى حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِىُّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « وَالَّذِى نَفْسِى بِيَدِهِ لَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ لاَ يَدْرِى الْقَاتِلُ فِى أَىِّ شَىْءٍ قَتَلَ وَلاَ يَدْرِى الْمَقْتُولُ عَلَى أَىِّ شَىْءٍ قُتِلَ ».
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, there will come a time when the killer will not know for what he killed, and the slain will not know for what he was slain."'
