Sahih Muslim Book - 52, Hadith - 7340
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ قَالَ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَقُولُ « إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَىِ السَّاعَةِ كَذَّابِينَ ». وَزَادَ فِى حَدِيثِ أَبِى الأَحْوَصِ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ آنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ نَعَمْ.
It was narrated that Jabir bin Samurah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say: 'Before the Hour comes, there will be many liars."' In the Hadith of Abul-Ahwas it says: "He said: 'I said to him (the sub narrator): "Did you hear that from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w)?"He said: "Yes."
