It was narrated that 'Abdullah said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and we passed by some boys among whom was Ibn Sayyad. The boys went away and Ibn Sayyad sat down. It was as if the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) did not like that. The Prophet (s.a.w) said to him: 'May your hands be rubbed with dust. Do you bear witness that I am the Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'No; rather you should bear witness that I am the messenger of Allah.' 'Umar bin Al-Khattab said: 'O Messenger of Allah, let me kill him.' The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'If he is who you think he is, you will never be able to kill him"'
