حَدَّثَنَا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ التَّمِيمِىُّ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِى مَسْعُودٍ الأَنْصَارِىِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « مَنْ قَرَأَ هَاتَيْنِ الآيَتَيْنِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِى لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ ». قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَحَدَّثَنِى بِهِ عَنِ النَّبِىِّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم-.
It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Yazid, from 'Alqamah bin Qais, from Abu Mas'ud Al-Ansari, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'Whoever recites these two verses at the end of Surat Al-Baqarah during the night, they will suffice him.'" 'Abdur-Rahman said: "I met Abu Mas'ud when he was circumambulating the Ka'bah and I asked him, and he narrated it to me from the Prophet (s.a.w)."
