Tirmidhi Book 2, Hadith 193
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: أُمِرَ بِلَالٌ أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الْأَذَانَ وَيُوتِرَ الْإِقَامَةَ . وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: وَحَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، وَهُوَ قَوْلُ بَعْضِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالتَّابِعِينَ، وَبِهِ يَقُولُ مَالِكٌ، وَالشَّافِعِيُّ، وَأَحْمَدُ، وَإِسْحَاقُ.
Anas bin Malik narrated: Bilal was ordered to make the phrases of the Adhan even, and the phrases of the Iqamah odd.
