Narrated 'Abdullah bin Buraidah: I heard my father Buraidah saying: 'I was walking with the Prophet (ﷺ) when a man came to him with a donkey, so he said: O Messenger of Allah! Ride and the man moved toward the back. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: No, you have more right to the front of your beast, unless you allot it for me. He said: I have allotted it for you.' He said: 'So he rode.'
