Tirmidhi Book 49, Hadith 3716
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ. ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ إسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِعَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ: أَنْتَ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْكَ . وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ قِصَّةٌ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
Narrated Al-Bara bin 'Azib: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to 'Ali bin Abi Talib: You are from me, and I am from you. And there is a story along with this Hadith.
